Heidi Ramseur Lee is an accomplished designer in the marching arts industry, bringing a distinctive blend of artistic vision, technical expertise, and creative innovation to every project. Throughout her career, she has served as Art Director for both StylePlus and America Band. Her career also includes designing for numerous respected companies across the industry, including Band Today, Digital Performance Gear, Ensemble Innovations, Marching 365, and Standing ‘O’ Marching.

Among her many professional accomplishments, a career highlight was serving as Chief Uniform Designer for the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps' acclaimed 2024 production, “Dance with the Devil.”

Heidi is thrilled to continue her creative journey through her partnership with Band Today, where she has the opportunity to guide projects through every stage of the design process—from the initial spark of inspiration to production and the finished product. This hands-on approach allows her to ensure that each design remains true to its original artistic vision.

As the wife of a North Carolina band director, Heidi brings a unique perspective to her work. She understands firsthand the demands, challenges, and creative aspirations of marching arts programs. Her goal is not simply to create visually striking designs, but to develop meaningful works of art that complement the music, enhance the storytelling, and bring each production's vision to life.

A classically trained fine artist, Heidi approaches design with the imagination and attention to detail of a traditional artist. Whether working with a paintbrush on canvas or creating digitally, she believes that every design should be a thoughtful balance of artistry, purpose, and innovation. For Heidi, a uniform is more than apparel—it is an extension of the performance itself.

Her extensive portfolio includes designs for countless high school, college, and university marching bands, as well as ensembles competing within Drum Corps International (DCI), Winter Guard International (WGI), and Bands of America (BOA).

Heidi is a graduate of Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina, where she earned bachelor's degrees in Fine Arts and Communication Studies.

She resides in Concord, North Carolina, with her husband and daughter.
